In this tech savvy era, technology is being used to communicate with the people either through professional or casual way. Besides calls, emails are one of the major resources that come at the forefront whenever it comes to sending or receiving information.

Perhaps, you use your email account on a daily basis, in order to communicate with your clients or friends. But, how will you react if you are informed that your information is being hacked by someone. Obviously, this is something which you never want to be happened as your mails may contain confidential data. So, Does it mean, you should not use your email account? Well, luckily the answer is ‘NO’ as we have many ways which can be brought in use to prevent data leakage.

PGP, short for ‘Pretty Good Privacy’, is one of the technologies which are responsible for safe sending or receiving of data. Widely used for Blackberry handsets, this is a program which encrypts the data before sending and also decrypts the data at the receiver end. This is a program that guarantees you ‘no data leakage’, thereby people prefer PGP encrypted Blackberry handsets.

The PGP encrypted Blackberry handsets work on a key system which consists of Public Key and Private Key. The encryption process is carried out by using public key and decryption process is carried out by using private key. In reality, after the encryption process, data gets converted into a meaningless message which makes no sense to a third party, except the receiver. Since, the receiver is provided with a key to unlock the actual data, thus data gets converted back to its real form, so that the receiver can read it correctly.

The encryption and decryption is a long process which usually takes a long time. However, PGP works on a faster algorithm, thus the process takes place in a fraction of a second. Besides security, some additional benefits of PGP encryption are given below:

No data storage: Servers never store any data or information. Thus, there is 0% chance of data access and manipulation.

No virus attack: With a PGP encrypted handset, you will not have to be worried about viruses or malware as your device will remain safe, clean and free from virus attack.

No other installation: With a pre-installed PGP program, a Blackberry handset never needs to install additional programs in order to prevent data leakage.

Since PGP encryption is a completely tried and tested program, thus you can count on it blindly. Moreover, the best part is that you get anonymous communication networkPsychology Articles, so that nobody can access your data without any authentication.
